James D.
Carton, III graduated from Villanova University in 1956,
followed by two years in the service, and received his law degree,
Summa Cum Laude, from Seton Hall University in 1961. He has been in
practice for the last 48 years and provides a wealth of experience
and knowledge to the firm and you as a client. Mr. Carton has served
on the District Ethics Committee, has been a Monmouth County
arbitrator and has tried hundreds of cases throughout his career. He
has argued many appeals ranging from the New Jersey Appellate
Division to the New Jersey Supreme Court and the Federal Third
Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Carton’s practice is concentrated in the areas of civil
litigation, personal injury litigation and estate litigation.
John C.
Carton graduated from Dartmouth College in 1958, followed by
Georgetown Law School in 1961. He has served on the New Jersey
Supreme Court Civil Practice Committee, has taught numerous young
lawyers the art of trying a case in his role as a member of the
Local Inns of Court. Mr. Carton has served as an arbitrator in
Freehold, New Jersey and he tries a substantial number of civil
cases to verdict annually. He has tried hundreds of cases throughout
his 48 year career. Mr. Carton served as the planning board attorney
for the Borough of Avon for 40 years and his knowledge of land use
is an invaluable tool for our clients.

James D.
Carton, IV graduated from the University of Richmond in 1988
and Cumberland Law School in 1991. He clerked in the Superior Court
of New Jersey and is a Certified Civil Trial Attorney. Mr. Carton
tries a number of cases involving serious personal injury to verdict
annually, and his results have been reported in "Jury Verdict
Review". He has argued appeals in personal injury cases, coverage
actions and workers’ compensation matters. Mr. Carton is the
municipal prosecutor in Sea Girt and Interlaken. He is an arbitrator
and trained mediator.

David J.
Leone graduated from the University of Maryland–College Park
in 1992. After working for 8 years in contract administration for a
multi-million dollar construction management firm, Mr. Leone
enrolled at Rutgers School of Law–Newark, earning his Juris
Doctorate in 2003. Mr. Leone clerked in the Superior Court of New
Jersey and has tried numerous serious personal injury and insurance
coverage matters to verdict. He is licensed to practice law in New
Jersey and New York and is a certified mediator. He has appeared in
matters in the Federal District Court of New Jersey and has argued
cases in the Appellate Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey.
Mr. Leone’s
practice consists of representing plaintiffs and defendants in
personal injury lawsuits, construction injury, defect and
contractual claims, municipal court matters, workers’ compensation
and planning and zoning board approvals.
